Skulptur nach Skulptur

The programming part of Skulptur nach Skulptur involved mainly GUI programming with Source Engine's VGUI system. Since the application was based on the first person experience of Half-Life 2, there where two main functionalities to be added:

  • An information panel of each exhipit including the textual description of the artwork and an offline rendering
  • The possibility to quickly navigate to each exhibit

Both where realized as data driven elements that can be easily placed and customized inside the level editor.
